| Eeting Tony Matola was an inspiring and enlightening experience, his visions of life; his fascination with the African contribution to world music since the ancient times, his refusal to conform is all reflected in his music and totally unique and eclectic style can make one wonder, from which planet he comes from. According to his lifepath9 he is under the influence of Mars with a mission in this life to make a divine contribution to humanity. |

| s the son of church pastors, guitar playing was not welcomed at home as a teenager, however he secretly attended Classical music lessons with his childhood friend Baloi. This was the beginning of his journey of self discovery. He felt the beauty of art when playing Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, and Johann Sebastian Bach. Away from the grand piano there was some element of frustration and sadness since he was the only one in his peer group interested in classical music. Hard to dissuade he always believed that some higher powers were directing him to play. |
